Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

How to add a friend, that is a faster answer so that first. At the upper right of each profile page you will find a link marked "Watch this deviant" Click at that and the devian (artist) will be added to your friends list. Friend list and watch list are the same thing.
For how to use "Devious Comments" box you can start a new subject by posting an independent message as you did with the one that I am replying to.
To reply to an existing comment you will find a small reply button to the left of the comment marked "reply". Click on that button and a new edit box opens up, type your reply in that box and after you click send, it will be attached to the message being replied to, and this one is attached to your. In addition the persone who posted the message you are replying to will be notified of your reply.
If I can be of any help, please feel free to ask, you can find my contact information, for various IM services, (AIM, MSN, etc.) and my email address on my profile page click on my name or avatar on this message and it will take you there. You can also send a note through dA, but email and IM would get a faster response.
